The three cladding systems we install

Standing seam cladding uses concealed fixings and a raised seam between panels, so the wall reads as a series of continuous vertical lines with no visible screws. It suits modern homes and commercial facades where a crisp, uninterrupted face is the whole point.

Interlocking cladding uses panels that lock into each other as they go up, which gives a flat, precise finish with tight shadow lines and no exposed fixings. Panel widths and finishes can be varied to change how bold or subtle the wall looks.

Alucobond is an aluminium composite panel used on facades, entries and feature walls. It is flat, light and holds its shape over large spans, which is why it is the go to for commercial frontages and sharp contemporary detailing.

Why we keep the range tight

We install these three systems because they are what we do well and what our clients ask for. Concentrating on a small number of systems means the flashings, junctions and set out are right the first time rather than worked out on site.

Because we are roofers as well, the cladding, roof sheeting, gutters and flashings are detailed together instead of three trades trying to meet at the same corner.

    New builds and re-cladding

On new builds we work from the architect or builder drawings and set out the panels so the seams and joints land where they should against windows, corners and the roof line.

On existing buildings the old sheeting comes off, anything found underneath is checked and corrected, and the new system goes on with proper cavity, flashings and trims.

    FAQs

    Architectural Cladding questions, answered

    What cladding do you install?

We install standing seam cladding, interlocking panel cladding and Alucobond aluminium composite panel. These are the three systems we specialise in for homes and commercial buildings.

    What is standing seam cladding?

Standing seam cladding is a concealed fixed system where panels are joined by a raised vertical seam. There are no visible screws, which gives the wall a clean continuous line.

What is Alucobond cladding used for?

Alucobond is an aluminium composite panel used on facades, entries and feature walls. It stays flat over large areas and suits commercial frontages and modern residential detailing.

Can cladding go on an existing building?

Yes. We assess the existing wall first, then install the new system over the correct framing or battens with the cavity, flashings and trims it needs to stay weathertight.

How much does architectural cladding cost?

It depends on the system, the area, access and the detailing involved. We quote each job after looking at the building, and the quote is free with no obligation.

Which areas do you cover for cladding?

We are based in Ballarat and work across Central and Western Victoria. Call 0437 978 856 with your address and we will confirm.
